Chemists who harnessed evolution win Nobel

'A revolution based on evolution' is behind this year's Nobel Chemistry prize. Americans Frances Arnold and George Smith, and Britain's Gregory Winter, worked out how to speed up evolution to create new proteins, with uses ranging from making biofuels to treating cancer.
