Congress takes major step toward sentencing reform

The U.S. Senate will take up a bill to reform U.S. sentencing laws, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Tuesday. It reverses his previous resistance to the measure, giving the bill momentum for a vote this year. Andy Sullivan has the story.
