UAE draws UK ire by jailing Briton for 'spying'

British academic Matthew Hedges has been jailed for life in the United Arab Emirates after a trial that his family said lasted just minutes and didn't follow due process. The Abu Dhabi court sentenced him for spying for Britain, drawing fury from Westminster.
